My father sent me this. Share to every young man out there.

MY FATHER'S ADVICE TO ME WHEN I WAS SEARCHING FOR A WIFE. (By Jerry John Rawlings The Former Ghana President).
My son, I will be very raw and sincere with you. Do not worry about the size of a woman buttock or breast but worry about the size of her heart and brain. Worry about the size of her love and endurance. Because after 5 or 10 years, it will not be about the breast or buttock. As you can see, your mum now has a flat chest and almost flat buttock but we still live together happily, I still love her and she still love me.

Be careful of a woman that loves money. I mean the woman that talks ‘every time’ about her hair, clothes, shoes, bags panties and make-ups. Marriage is not all about these things. Without makeup, clothes, shoes and panties a good marriage will still stand but without love, no marriage can stand.

When I got married to your mum, I didn’t have a car or house of my own. I was not even educated, but I had dreams and she appreciated and supported me. Any woman that does not support your dream is not worth thinking-a-minute about. There are women that will see your dreams better than you, you are lucky if you find one.

My son, open your ears very well, there is a kind of woman you should avoid, do not make a mistake to marry this kind of woman or you will regret it. I mean a woman that always has bad things to say about everyone. If you see this kind of woman, run away. One of the worst kind of woman you can marry is the one that complains about everything. If you buy this, she says you should have bought that, if you do this, she said you should have done that. Please stay away! Most women enjoy talking but the one who talks for two hours and listen for two minutes is a potential ‘bomb’. Be wise

Be very careful of a pretending partner. A pretending woman is not hard to know. She will always know everything about everything, she will be careful. Just close your eyes and open your heart and you will see! No woman is perfect. If you see a woman who believes in your dream, who respects you, who is
committed, and who is not all about herself alone then don’t let her go.

But remember, you must not be a wayward man. I have trained you!
If you find a good woman but you are a bad man, you won't have a good marriage!
I won’t pick a wife for you but I have given you my advice. When you find her, bring her for my blessings.

May you find a woman that will increase you not decrease you..

Photos: Female fuel attendant whose monthly salary is N15,000 found and returned lost money

Few weeks ago, a female fuel attendant at Mobil filling station, Gwagwalada, Abuja found N30,000 lost by a customer. The young lady who's named Esther earns N15,000 monthly salary but in a rare display of integrity, she decided to return the money to the owner. Hear from Efe Okposio:

"Some weeks ago I drove into the Mobil filling station on Teaching Hospital rd Gwagwalada Abuja to get fuel. Unknown to me 30k dropped off the car when I opened the door. When I got to my next stop to pick some things I discovered the money way missing.

After driving around for about 30mins I decided to check the filling station. When I asked Esther the fuel attendant about the money. She just stepped into their office and brought my 30 thousand. She could have denied seeing the money and I couldn't have suspected her. But she brought the money out. 30k is her two months salary but she rose above it.

So when next you're in Gwagwalada Abuja and your fuel is running low. Stop by at Mobil filling station on Teaching hospital rd. Ask of Esther and give her a good tip"

Trader arrested for naming pet dog ‘Buhari

Trader arrested for naming pet dog ‘Buhari’ ON AUGUST 17, 2016 By Emma Nnadozie, Crime Editor Sango-ota—A 30-year-old trader has been arrested by the police in Ogun state for naming his pet dog ‘Buhari.’ The trader, Joe Fortemose Chinakwe, of No 10, Omikunle Street, Sango-Ota, Ogun State, was reportedly arrested last weekend, after one of his neighbours of Northern extraction complained bitterly that he named his dog after his father, Alhaji Buhari. Vanguard learned that the complainant reported the case at Sango Police Station, last Saturday, after which the trader was arrested and detained. However, it was gathered that efforts by the police to recover the dog, which they intended using as evidence failed following a clever move by the suspect. The trader, said to be trading in female wears at a popular market in Sango, allegedly directed his friends secretly to kill the dog and possibly eat the meat in order to avoid being implicated. It was gathered that consistent appeals by his friends and relations for the police to grant him bail failed as the complainant and his kinsmen reportedly threatened to kill the trader if he was released on bail. Trader denied bail The case, however, took a different dimension two days later when Chinakwe’s relatives went to Sango police station to further plead for his bail only to be informed that the case file and the suspect have been transferred to Ogun State Police Command headquarters at Eleweran. A relation to the suspect, who simply identified himself as Chiedozie, told Vanguard that his brother was being persecuted for no just cause and expressed fears that he may either be poisoned inside police cell or thrown into jail. Chiedozie said: “Chinakwe is a lover of dogs and he names them after things that tickle him. He bought this dog a year ago and named it Buhari.  Unfortunately, some Northerners, who dominate the vicinity where he resides misconstrued his intention and connived to take him up. The complainant then claimed it was derogatory because his father answers Buhari.” Police sources, however, told Vanguard that the actions of the suspect “were very provocative.” The source said: “he not only named the dog Buhari but boldly wrote it on the body of both sides of the dog and was seen parading the neighbourhood dominated by Northerners with it.” As at press time, relations to the suspect were still making frantic efforts to effect his bail while his accusers are insisting that he must be prosecuted. Police confirms arrest When contacted around 8pm yesterday, the acting Police spokesman in Ogun State, Abimbola Oyeyemi, ASP, said he was still trying to get the Divisional Police Officer in-charge of Sango for details. Oyeyemi later called, stating that: “I have made enquiries. The man bought a dog and inscribed Buhari on both sides of its body. One Mallam lodged a complaint and when our men got there, we found out that it was true. You know such thing can cause serious breach of the peace and ethnic or religious unrest. We are charging him to court for conduct likely to cause a breach of peace.” Continuing, he said: “He was arrested last Saturday and we are taking him to court later today (Tuesday) or tomorrow morning (today). You know an average Northerner will feel bad over such a thing. It can cause serious ethnic crisis or religious confrontation because when you are relegating such a name to a certain person, you are indirectly insulting him.” When asked about the whereabouts of the dog that will be used as evidence against the suspect, the police spokesman said: “The dog cannot follow anybody except the owner. We will use him as our evidence because he did not deny it.”

Mother of rescued Chibok girl, Amina Ali, speaks to BBC, says some of the missing girls died during childbirth

Mother of Amina Ali, one of the Chibok school girls who was rescued in May this year after being in Boko Haram captivity for over two years, spoke to BBC about her daughter Amina. According to her, Amina told her that some of the girls she was kidnapped alongside with died during childbirth while others were killed during bomb attacks.

"She said some of the girls died in childbirth. Others were killed by bombs. Some girls were deafened by the explosions. Some of the girls were wounded and their legs were broken".

According to Amina's mother, some of the girls were given out as wives to Boko Haram fighters

"The man my daughter was given to was from Mubi. He was a mechanic when Boko Haram came. Everyone one ran away but he was under a car didn't see them coming. They captured him and Amina was given to him as wife. He told her that they should run away that night. He promised to reunite Amina and her family even if it will cost him his life. My mind is at rest. Right now, we are not together but we do talk on the phone. At the moment, I don't know if she is back in school or not. Before I left her she wasn't in school. Amina said she doesn't want to go to school again. She told the president that she wants the government to buy her sewing machines. She wants to learn tailoring and to own a shop"

She said she wept when she met her daughter after she was rescued

"When I saw her, I hugged her and started to cry. Amina said "Mama you should be happy I came out alive. Two years and three months and now you see me, lets be thankful. Then I held her in my arms. I was crying tears of joy."

Photo: Former Ebonyi State Commissioner arrested over N83m bribery allegation

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Monday August 15, arrested a former Commissioner for Public Utilities in Ebonyi State, Engineer Benjamin Ogbonnaya Okah, for alleged abuse of office and collecting gratification to the tune of N83 million.

The arrest was sequel to a petition by the Ebonyi State government over the $12 million contract to a US based company Califco Group that had been abandoned since 2012, despite a mobilization of $10.8 million already paid by Ebonyi State Government into the accounts of the said company.

Investigation has revealed that both the Abuja and Ebonyi state addresses of the said company are fictitious. In the course of investigation, it was discovered that the former Commissioner allegedly collected gratification from the company in the sum of N83 million between July 30, 2012 and December 30, 2014, through his companies: Global Victory Allied Company and Mahco Mega Nigeria Limited.

Investigation in this matter continues.

Herdsmen killed 6 villagers in Kaduna because the villagers killed one Fulani chief- Chairman of Kaduna state herdsmen says

Tuesday, August 16, 2016

Herdsmen killed 6 villagers in Kaduna because the villagers killed one Fulani chief- Chairman of Kaduna state herdsmen says

Chairman of the Kaduna State Chapter of Miyetti Ahallah(association of herdsmen), Haruna Usman, has said that last week Saturday's attack by herdsmen in Godogodo village in Kaduna state was a reprisal one after the villagers killed a Fulani chief. In an interview with Vanguard, Usman said;

“Are Fulani crazy to just go and attack people? Did you ask the Godogodo people what they did to the Fulani? We already have 17 grazing reserves in Kaduna State since colonial times, and there is no dispute about that. What happened was that these people went and killed a Fulani Chief in one of the villages and burnt his house. The Fulani are just revenging.”

Refuting Usman's claim, the villagers said the armed herdsmen had asked them to vacate their village, saying it had become a cattle grazing reserve. A village elder from Godogodo gave the names of those killed during last Saturday's attack as Monday Hamza, 24, married with three children; Toma Masara, 35, married with three children and Chaka Rubutu, 26, married with four children, Linus, 20, married with two childrn, Julius, 19, married with a child, Boboo Okocha, 18, single and Sambo, 17, single. According to the village head, the body of Chaka was still missing.

“Godogodo is full to the brim with refugees, who have fled their villages seeking for safety here because it is a bigger village, close to an expressway and has better security. After the attack, they would cut down all the crops for their cattle to eat. There will be hunger this year in these villages.”he said

Meanwhile the state police command confirmed the incident and have deployed officers to the affected areas.

Why Kiss Daniel Doesn’t Do Music Collaborations With Other Nigerian Artistes

"Unmasked"!!! See Why Kiss Daniel Doesn’t Do Music Collaborations With Other Nigerian Artistes"

Popular Singer, Kiss Daniel, has explained why he does not collaborate with other Nigerian artists and get featured in their songs.

Kiss Daniel, the Nigerian pop sensation, who is making waves with his new album “New Era” has talked about his reluctance to collaborate with and feature on other artistes’ songs.

It is known that apart from the remix of Woju that featured Davido and Tiwa Savage, Kiss Daniel has only featured on songs with his fellow label mates Dj Shabsy and SugarBoy.

Explaining the reason for this in a recent interview with NotjustOk, Kiss Daniel says, “I’m signed to a record label and the management for now only allows me to collaborate with in-house artistes Dj Shabsy and Sugarboy. Maybe later I’ll do songs with other artistes but for now it’s out of it”.

When asked if the ‘no collaboration’ rule has affected his relationship with other artistes, he said, “its not really affected my relationship with other artistes, because some do actually understand and others don’t. People have definitely approached me for collabos and I explain to them, the few that get it, they go out and say good things about me, for the others that don’t, I’m still hoping that they get it some day. Trust me I really want to do collaborations, I want to jump on a song with Reekado Banks, Falz because I think they are awesome, I want to do alot of stuffs”.

Brazil 86-69 Nigeria: D'tigers lose for the fourth time, crash out of Rio 2016

Nigeria's Basketball team D'Tigers have crashed out of the 2016 Rio Olympics after losing 86-69 to host nation Brazil, making it their fourth loss on the spin following previous defeats to Argentina, Spain and Lithuania. Nigeria won the first quarter 16-15, but the next three quarters were won by Brazil and despite all efforts put in by the Nigerian lads, the Brazilians were just too tactically sound and defensively acute for the Nigerians to break down.

South Africa woman sentenced to 10 years in jail for kidnapping a newborn baby in 1997

South African woman sentenced to 10 years in jail for kidnapping a newborn baby in 1997

Zephany Nurse and her biological mother before she was kidnappedA South African woman who kidnapped a 3 day old newborn baby girl while she was sleeping beside her mother in a hospital in Cape Town in April 1997 and raised the girl as her own, was sentenced to 10 years in jail on Monday for kidnapping.
The presiding Judge, Judge John Hlophe in Cape Town announced the sentence, telling the 52-year-old convicted kidnapper that she had caused "immense" pain to the kidnapped girl's biological parents, the African News Agency reported.

The young woman who was kidnapped as a baby is known as Zephany Nurse, but that's not her real name, that name is the one given to her by her biological parents and used in the media in the years since her disappearance.

But since she has been found by her parents, she has chosen to continue using the name given to her by the kidnapper.

So in order to protect her privacy, a judge ordered that her adopted name and the name of her kidnapper should not be used by the media.

Zephany Nurse was reunited last year with her biological parents, Morne and Celeste Nurse, after the couple's second daughter befriended a girl at school who looked so much like her. The couple's second daughter was baffled by the similarities and told her parents about it. When her parents saw Zephany Nurse, they immediately suspected that she could be their long lost daughter, so they got the police involved.

A police investigation and DNA tests showed that the two girls were sisters and confirmed that the new friend was the Nurse's missing child.

During the court case, the kidnapper still maintained that she didn't kidnap the little girl in 1997 which annoyed the judge during sentencing.
Judge Hlophe criticized the kidnapper for sticking to her story that she had bought the baby from a woman who told her that the biological parents did not want the child.
Hlophe said:

"At the very least, one would expect you to apologize, but you chose not to."

The family of the convicted kidnapper blew kisses to her as she was led to a holding cell after the sentencing, and there was an alleged confrontation between the kidnapper's family and Zephany Nurse's biological family outside the courthouse.
Chantall Berry, Zephany Nurse's aunt allegedly said:

"She belongs to us." "She has our DNA. Her DNA will never change."

Zephany Nurse's biological parents were in court for the sentencing Monday, but their daughter was not. Zephany Nurse has not been allowed to have any contact with the convicted kidnapper but has been living with the kidnapper's husband, who she thought was her biological father.

The prosecution said the woman defrauded authorities when she registered Zephany Nurse as her own daughter in 2003 under a false birthdate.

TEAM NEWS

New signings Michy Batshuayi and N'Golo Kante are poised to make their Chelsea debuts on Monday night.

Kurt Zouma remains sidelined with a long-term knee injury.

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic has said Euro 2016 finalist Dimitri Payet will not be fit to play the whole game after making a delayed start to pre-season.

Aaron Cresswell and Manuel Lanzini are out with knee injuries but Andre Ayew and Sofiane Feghouli could be involved.

MOTD COMMENTATOR'S NOTES

Jonathan Pearce: "Many people are tipping Chelsea to challenge for the title under new boss Antonio Conte. He's a charming passionate football man with steely, ambitious eyes.

"N'Golo Kante will add a pacy engine to a flagging midfield. But it's a big step up for £33m striker Michy Batshuayi. The Conte evolution may take time.

"West Ham surprised everyone by winning at Arsenal on the opening day last year. They could spring another one here.

"New boys Sofiane Feghouli and Ashley Fletcher have looked sharp in pre-season. Andre Ayew's a good signing. A top five challenge should lie ahead.

"This is a thrilling score draw for me."

WHAT THE MANAGERS SAY

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte wants his players to channel the spirit of champions Leicester City: "When you watch Leicester's games you understand this great feeling between the players.

"Every player is ready to help his team-mate because he knows in another situation his team-mate will help him.

"It's important to have this if you want to win. It's important to have talented, fantastic players, but it's important as well to create the right spirit."

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic: "We have a good squad - we've kept most of the players and we've added some players too.

"We are expecting them to improve us - we'd expect that even without them because we have been together for a year now and had a good last season.

Leicester manager identifies reason for shock defeat by Hull City

Claudio Ranieri said his Leicester City side’s failure to play like a team was behind their shock 2-1 defeat by Hull City.

Adama Diomande’s spectacular goal in first-half stoppage time was soon cancelled out by Riyad Mahrez’s penalty but Robert Snodgrass steered in the winner for Hull as the defending champions were beaten on the opening day of a Premier League season for the first time.

“[It] was a very tough match and we tried to do our best but we made a lot of effort individually, but not so well as a team,” Ranieri told LCFC TV.

Mike Phelan celebrates Hull's victory

"I'm very pleased with the number of chances we created but of course I want to see a team. Our strength is as a team. Today we were better, harder, but not like a team.”

Mike Phelan, the Hull City caretaker manager, praised the character of his players, after the promoted side had a number of players through injury during the summer as well as their manager, Steve Bruce, who had left his job.

“Everything on the outside seemed to be pointing towards us going the other way, so it was important that the players showed the character that they did regardless of the final result,” Phelan told hullcitytigers.com. “They did that really well.”

Philippe Coutinho brace and Sadio Mane debut goal helps Merseysiders stun Arsenal at Emirates Stadium

Arsenal 3-4 Liverpool

Liverpool got their 2016/17 Premier League campaign off to a wonderful start by edging a pulsating encounter at Emirates Stadium winning 4-3 at Arsenal.

Despite falling behind to Theo Walcott’s strike, Jurgen Klopp’s side raced into a 4-1 lead thanks to a Philippe Coutinho brace and goals by Adam Lallana and Sadio Mane. With the Merseysiders threatening a rout, the Gunners responded with two efforts of their own from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Calum Chambers, but the visitors held on for a memorable victory in north London.

Arsenal began the first half well, dominating possession and playing on the front foot, and should have taken the lead on 28 minute, when they were awarded a penalty for a foul by Alberto Moreno on Walcott, whose feet were too quick for the Spaniard’s lunge.

Walcott elected to take the spot-kick himself but was denied by Simon Mignolet, who guessed right to parry the ball away.

However, Walcott did not have long to wait before making amends, latching on to Alex Iwobi’s pass to drive low across Mignolet and into the far left-hand corner.

Arsenal’s makeshift central defensive pairing of Chambers and summer signing Rob Holding had been largely untroubled until Coutinho’s moment of magic, but there was nothing any of the Arsenal defenders could do when, from 30 yards out, the Brazilian planted a curling free-kick into the top left-hand corner of Petr Cech’s net.

Liverpool began the second half as they meant to go on, Lallana giving his side the lead after chesting down Georginho Wijnaldum’s cross and slotting past the advancing Cech four minutes after the restart.

Just six minutes later it was 3-1 as a delightful team move found Nathaniel Clyne haring down the left and picking out Coutinho to score again with a fierce, first-time finish.

Arsenal appeared to be unravelling as Aaron Ramsey went off with a hamstring problem and moments later Sadio Mane scored a wonderful individual goal, powering down the right flank, cutting inside three players and firing emphatically into the top corner.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain gave the home fans faint hope with a mazy individual goal which left four opponents in his wake and Mignolet fooled by his low shot on 64 minutes, and within 11 minutes that hope became more real as Chambers rose to glance in Santi Cazorla’s free-kick.

Now the Gunners’ tails were up but, try as they might, they could not match Liverpool’s four goals.

Woman allegedly dies after pastor mounted speaker on her to prove God's power

Woman allegedly dies after pastor mounted speaker on her to prove God’s power [PHOTOS]

WHAT'S YOUR VIEW ON THIS?

Controversial South African pastor, Lethebo Rabalango, has allegedly killed one of his members after he put a speaker on top of her body to prove God’s power.

According to news making the rounds, the girl died following internal injuries she sustained.

The pastor and founder of Mount Zion General Assembly had organised a night of worship at his church in Polokwane on Friday, where he was teaching about demonstration of power in which he emphasized that if Jesus walked on water, he too could do anything with faith, Jacaranda FM, South Africa’s independent radio station learnt.

However, the unfortunate incident played out when he invited a girl from the praise team and asked her to lie down. He then ordered ushers to carry a big speaker and put on her stomach saying the weight would not harm her.

Rabalango climbed on top of the speaker, adding pressure to allegedly suffocate the girl who reports say remained quite as she had already passed out.

Afterwards, the pastor reportedly sat on top of the speaker which was still on the girl’s stomach for close five minutes, he got up and ordered removal of the speaker, but the girl could not rise.

The pastor was said to have blamed the girl and accused her of having little faith for she could not withstand a task he referred to a simple.

JAMB Boss Confirms that there will Be "written post - UTME" For Nigeria Universities

New JAMB Boss Confirms That There Will Be “No Written Post-UTME” For Nigerian Universities

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has stated that all universities in Nigeria have been barred from conducting written examinations before admitting students.

Speaking on Friday at an interview with pressmen shortly after a visit to the zonal office of the board in Benin, the Edo State capital, the Registrar and Chief Executive of the Board, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, dismissed the speculation of a stalemate in the admission of fresh students into universities across the country.

Oloyede, a former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Kwara State, also clarified that JAMB as a body will not impose prospective students on universities.

This is just as he averred that issues over the admission of fresh students into tertiary institutions had been resolved, after due consultations with all stakeholders.

Oloyede said:-

”I know many of you are bothered and you want to hear from me about the admission; there is no stalemate.
